"Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  I served in the US Army, Infantry and spent 1968 in Vietnam, coming home as a First Lieutenant.

Graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with a BA and MA in English literature, linguistics, and writing.

I have worked a variety jobs: cook; warehouse shipping clerk; on a pipeline gang and as a pipeline dispatcher for Union Oil; residential electrician; taught writing for Peninsula College extension; drove the bookmobile for NOLS; and sold real estate.  I built and remodeled houses as a general contractor.

I enjoy reading, writing, and occasional stabs at golf.  And, somehow, I never seem to run out of projects.  I look forward to the post-pandemic era when I can travel to far-away places.

I have been married for fifty+ years.  My wife and I bought our house in Port Angeles in 1976. I am happy my daughter and son-in-law live close by and that my favorite grand-daughter and her family also live here.

I have been swimming at our pool since the late seventies and have been on the advisory committee for the pool."

"I am originally from Long Beach, MS where I began my career in the electrical industry in 1976. I have lived on the Olympic Peninsula over 25 years and became a resident of Port Angeles in 2001 when I married my wife Melanie in 2001. Melanie and I love living in this area and take advantage of our great outdoors often hiking, camping, backpacking and walking our two dogs all around the Peninsula.

I was elected to serve on Port Angeles City Council last November and am proud to have a voice in our local government.  I was employed by the City of Port Angeles and worked in Light Operations from 2004-2008."

"I have been employed by PUD # 1 of Clallam County since 2008 as the Procurement & Facilities Supervisor which includes working with many local contractors constructing, maintaining and repairing PUD facilities throughout the District. I hope to bring this experience to the Board of Commissioners to aid in making sound decisions for the Shore Aquatic Center."
